Friday Oktober 7th – Oktoberfest Kickoff!
- 4:00 – Tapping of the Keg ceremony (Official Kick Off to Oktoberfest)
- 6:30 – Inaugural Oktoberfest Parade Begins (Free to enter)
Saturday Oktober 8th
- 8am – Mini Marathon Races begin at Fargo Civic Center
- 11am - Pub Crawl Begins at all participating locations – You do not need to consume alcohol to participate
- Costume Contest begins (Need a costume? Get your gear at Fantasy’s)
- Noon – Root Beer Fest for Kids -The first 200 kids receive a free root beer float-Sponsored by A&W Root Beer and Kemps Ice Cream
- Beer/Liquor Sampling begins – brought to you by Shock Top, the official beer of Oktoberfest, and Bacardi Oak Heart, the official spirit of Oktoberfest
- 2pm – Running of the Wieners – Presented by Shaggy’s Dog Wash
- 4pm – Hot Dog Eating Contest – sponsored by Broadway Dogs and The Old Broadway
